D030814 Bridge Rehabilitation Design Phase I-IV, Corrective Repairs and Preventative Maintenance on Specified Bridges in Queen County, Region 11
As the prime consultant, SEPC provided design services for the corrective maintenance of bridge elements which were rated 4 or lower during the 2007 and 2008 Biennial Inspections. The design of preventive maintenance included twenty-nine (29) bridges in total.
The scope of services consisted of all the work required to investigate and design the corrective repairs which improved the overall rating of the bridges. This work included, but was not limited to, conducting site visits, in-depth inspection, preparing inspection reports including recommendation and cost estimates, preparing NYSDOT design report, evaluating deteriorated bridges, roadways, sidewalks, drainage elements, performing load rating and structural analysis, preparing corrective repair design, preparing work zone traffic control plans (MPT), developing construction cost estimates, and performing asbestos containing material (ACM) testing.
