Revitalization of Guy Lombardo Avenue, Village of Freeport, Nassau County
The project was comprised of the complete design for replacement of Guy Lombardo Avenue to address chronic flooding problems caused by an older and insufficient drainage system. The project posed several challenges due to the commercial nature of the roadway. Other work included utilities relocation, sewer line design with new roadway profile, and sidewalks replacement.
