Rashid S Siddiqui is the founder and President of SEPC. With over 30 years of experience, Rashid has led SEPC for more than 20 years while we completed many projects in civil and bridge design, biennial bridge inspections, construction inspection and facilities. Rashid leads the firm's overall financial management, business development, and client / professional service relations. In addition to overseeing SEPC's day-to-day operations, Rashid serves as Principal -in- Charge for many of SEPC's projects to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality project delivery.
Rashid has a wide range of experience. Prior to establishing SEPC, he held senior level positions directing and managing a wide range of projects totaling over $500 million in construction cost. His experience includes project planning, project development, project management, construction management, structural design, biennial inspections, QA/QC, budget analysis, claim analysis and cost control in the areas of roadway, bridges, and structures design and construction. Rashid's experience has evolved him into an efficient leader on all types of design and construction projects, ranging from large complex projects to smaller simple projects.
Rashid is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut; holds a M.S. in Structural Engineering; and a BS in Civil Engineering.
Ben Golshahr, vice president, leads SEPC's design group and oversees all aspects of design for bridges, roadways, rail transit, and miscellaneous projects. With over thirty (30) years of extensive experience in project management, contract administration, and all phases of bridge and infrastructure design, Ben has led numerous design projects during his career.
His expertise includes design development for roadways, drainage systems, sidewalks, pedestrian ramps, crosswalks, bridges, buildings, geotechnical studies, retaining walls, parking structures, railroad structures, and miscellaneous components. During his career, he has worked on numerous roadway design and beautification projects ranging from PDIs to the final designs. He has also taught various courses including foundation design and soil mechanics at New York University and The City College of New York for many years.
